I take great pride in every quilt I make, whether it is for me personally or for a client. A quilt is a very personal keepsake and should be made with close attention paid to all the details. Each quilt design is planned out and laid out with the client in mind, from the placement of each piece , to the pattern for the actual quilting, all the way to the binding which is finished off by hand with a invisible stitch.
Rick's quilts are to die for -- extremely well made. He made a quilt for Liza, my daughter when she was going through chemo for breast cancer. The quilt had all of Liza's favorite colors and flowers plus had every member of Liza's family stitched into the quilt.
She loved to cover with it when she was lying on the sofa and also in the chemo chair. The quilt is definitely one that will never go "out of style" --It is a real treasure for our family.
Unfortunately, Liza didn't beat cancer which just makes this quilt that much more special to the family.
Rick is such a caring person and his work is truly a work of love -- his quilts show that he puts personal feelings into them.
You won't find a better made or a more personal quilt. Rick Sanchez is the best. I highly recommend Stitch with Rick.

This past New Years, Rick presented me a T-Shirt quilt that was made from my partner's old T-Shirts. I lost Don 6 years ago from respiratory failure brought on from double pneumonia. It was a very tragic loss for my family and I. A loss that still leaves a hollow place in my heart.
Rick gave me this wonderful quilt during a camping trip in the presence of close friends. As much as it brought back the memories of his death it also gave me the opportunity to smile, laugh, and reflect on the wonderful times we had. I can remember when he bought the t-shirts and the numerous times he wore them. I have the pictures to prove it.
The workmanship that it took to design and sew this awesome work of art is beyond any words I can use to describe what I have come to cherish. The talent Rick has is God given and he is using his talents by bringing smile to peoples face. Evert time I pass by Don's quilt, I stop and reflect on the best 11 years of my life.
I can't thank Rick enough for the joy he has brought to my heart.
